Which parts of a healthy garden plant can carry out photosynthesis? Select all that apply.

الشرح

Photosynthesis needs chlorophyll, the green pigment, so a part can only do it if that pigment is present, and both leaf blades and green stems qualify. Petals take their colour from other pigments, a woody twig is covered by dead bark that shuts out the light, and an ordinary root grows in the dark below ground.
