Which statements about why a leaf looks green are true? Select all that apply.

الشرح

We see the colours a surface sends back to our eyes, so a leaf looking green tells us that green is the part of the light chlorophyll does least with. The colours that pigment takes in strongly are the ones that power photosynthesis, and a leaf that absorbed every colour equally would look black rather than green.
