السؤال 119

The climbers successfully got as far as the summit. Which sentence uses reach correctly?

The climbers finally reached the summit.الإجابة الصحيحة
The climbers reached to the summit.
The climbers reached at the summit.
The climbers reached for the summit.

الشرح

Reached takes the destination as a direct object, so summit follows without a preposition. Get needs to and arrive needs at here, but those patterns do not transfer to reach.
