Which organ of a plant carries out most of its photosynthesis?

توضیح

Leaves are held out in the light and are richly supplied with chloroplasts, so they intercept most of the light a plant receives and carry out most of its photosynthesis. Roots grow below ground and out of the light, which is why the popular idea that they gather the plant's food fails, and flowers and seeds are structures for reproduction.
