  1. Voters must pass a reading test
  2. Only people who own property can vote
  3. Only citizens born in the United States can vote
  4. Citizens eighteen (18) and older can voteBonne réponse

Réponse officielle

  • Citizens eighteen (18) and older (can vote).
  • You don't have to pay (a poll tax) to vote.
  • Any citizen can vote. (Women and men can vote.)
  • A male citizen of any race (can vote).

Explication

Four amendments extended the vote: the Fifteenth (race), the Nineteenth (sex), the Twenty-fourth (no poll tax) and the Twenty-sixth, which set the voting age at eighteen. Property tests and literacy tests are exactly what these amendments and later civil rights laws removed.
