Almaty is Kazakhstan's largest city and a former capital. Which present-day capital, once renamed Nur-Sultan, contrasts with it?

Explication

Astana is Kazakhstan's present national capital, while Almaty is the largest city and a former capital. Nur-Sultan was a former name of Astana, not a separate current city that competes for the role.
