Which command lists the commits reachable from your current branch, newest first?

`git log` walks the commit graph from HEAD (or any given revision) and prints the reachable commits in reverse chronological order. The tempting distractor is `git reflog`: it lists the local history of where your refs have pointed — including commits no longer reachable from any branch — which is a record of your ref movements, not the branch's commit history. `git status` shows working-tree state and `git diff` shows content changes.
