Before buying a used bicycle, Nia gave it a quick general inspection from handlebars to tyres. Complete with the past-tense phrasal verb based on look that specifically means examine quickly, using it to refer to the bicycle: She ___ once.

Объяснение

A quick general inspection of the bicycle is expressed by look over, so the pronoun belongs between looked and over. Looking through applies to documents or collections one can scan, not to inspecting a solid bicycle from end to end.
