These questions ask you to recognize the claims of cell theory, separate one-celled from many-celled organization, and decide whether an example is cellular at all. The safest route is to classify the biological level before judging the statement.
Classify the level, then apply the claim
Begin by asking what the named thing is. The complete cell is the smallest structural and functional unit of an organism. Internal cell parts each do particular jobs, while groups of cells and larger body structures are built from cells. For example, a membrane-bound compartment may perform one task, but that limited task does not make the compartment a complete living unit.

For counting, count cells rather than internal parts. A single-celled pond organism with many protein-building particles is still one organism made of one cell. For specialization, separate role from independence: a cell adapted for one job can remain dependent on other cells in the same body. Copied hereditary information can pass into the daughter cells produced by division; it does not simply move into unrelated neighbours.
